I have heard different people suggest the tube of the Acro is an advantage, but I never found that to be the case in the few years I have been shooting an Acro. Multiple times, I have had experienced shooters try otherwise identical Glock pistols with a P2 Acro and a Holosun 507/407. Each person felt the Holosun was easier to find the dot with, even the shooter who had just laid out dollars for a P2, and had been looking forward to the Acro for months. I think the Acro doesn't do as well because it has the combination of one of the smallest displays with the most amount of framing around that display.
Different comparison but wife prefers the display on her Glock 19 with the 509T to her 19 with the Acro. I have no idea whether the new EPS will prove to be durable, and how it's battery life is, but it's overall size, display quality and display size are class leading right now.
I respect the P2 Acro, but mostly because of the durability I associate with Aimpoint products.
