Thread: Electronic Ear Pro

    Electronic Ear Pro

I am looking to step up from the sets of Howard Leights I've had for over 8 years and get into better range/hunting hearing protection. Budget is up to 500 but would prefer around 300.

    Any recommendations are appreciated

I got a set of these roughly 6 months ago and I've been pleased with them after I put the Skull Screw replacement tips. https://www.amazon.com/Tactical-Rechargeable-Reduction-Construction-Enforcement/dp/B0C9MLNV7X

I bought them specifically for use with long guns as I tend to displace whatever ear muffs I'm using with the butt stock.

I upgraded from the Howard Leights to the MSA sordins. I also use Surefire plugs.
    **OK**

There are a lot of good options out there these days. I've had my Sordin Supreme Pro-X set since 2014. Currently using Eneloop AAAs, they have never failed. I upgraded them a few years ago to the Noisefighters gel cups, to fit around my glasses. I thought the leather headband was a bit thin so I bought one of those velcro padded over-wraps, which makes them comfy.

I use them mostly doubled up with plugs, for pistol shooting.

My go-to for this would be SRS Tactical. I ran at least two group buys here with them previously, and they were a pleasure to work with.
