Thread: Introductions

    Yo

    Hello all.

I'm on a few other boards by the same name. I'm verified on ShadowSpear and 51+ positive only feedbacks on Tacswap. Was Infantry then went stupid or smart depending on whom's POV and went Quartermaster ansd did that the majority of my career until retirement and transferred to the inactive list.

Not new to shooting, Gunsite and local match junky. My EDC is a Sig 365 Xmacro and my nightsnad and SHTF gun is a G45 MOS. I'm trading hopefully for a Staccato C3 so we will see how it goes.

Thanks for having me. I may not be much of a contribution though, each topic has already been done to death in either here or elsewhere but do like the comradery so long as we don't try to eat our own over benign differences of likes and dislikes with guns and how they're set up or not because that's just dumb and accomplishes nothing IMO.

Spent most of my time as a store detective for major retailers on Michigan avenue in Chicago. Currently have a condo in Chicago and a small house in Tennessee. Planning on moving to Tennessee full time. Property tax in Chicago is way to much to pay when you retire. Currently look for a pistol to have in Tennessee, just in case I run into a bear. Been looking at S&W and Sig pistols

Hi all - have looked at this forum over many years and finally made an account. Primarily CCW / defensive shooting focused, have done a couple matches and primarily shoot striker fired pistols. Cheers!

Just found this Forum and it looks like a winner! I'm Terry G. I'm interested in all firearms. modern handguns (I'm big on CZ's but like 'em all), Curio & Relic, and Rifles. I hunt, Fish, and Hike. O live in the woods in Central Wisconsin and have my own Shooting Range, but have access to a much longer State Rifle and Pistol Range. I carry under LEOSA.

Finally decided to make an account here after lurking for many years. I started my shooting journey after buying a glock 19 and finding pistol training.com. This place has been a wealth of information over the years and I finally decided to make an account and contribute.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for having me. I've been shooting and training martial arts for a long time. I'll be retiring from teaching high school in a few years and I am starting to teach shooting fundamentals as a second career. My firearms training has focused on pistol. Happy to answer questions about myself if I left anything out. I'm new to forums.

Welcome to PF. If I lived closer, I would have joined your school.

    Greetings,

I've been threatening to buy a pistol and start target shooting for decades and finally went through with it. Earlier this week I got a TX22 Compact and am now starting to figure out which 9mm I want. An Echelon? A VP9F? A SAR9? Those and more have been at the top of my list, fallen, and maybe even risen back up again. It's a process...

I took a CPL class before even getting the Taurus, and then a fundamentals class yesterday. I don't plan on carrying anytime soon but in Michigan it makes life easier for transporting to/from the range and when buying something new.

I'm guessing I'll mostly lurk around here for now, I've got a lot to learn about everything and not much to offer. Unless of course your questions drift to certain Italian motorcycles as my username might suggest. And yes, I did have a dog named Desmo.

    Thanks for having me,

    -Craig

    Welcome!

The standard PF answer to which 9mm:
Buy a Glock 19 and a case of ammo. By the time you’ve shot that case, you’ll have a much better idea of what you want from a 9mm.

You will join the majority if you decide to stay with Glock. Be advised, they multiply like Gremlins. Also, when you inevitably by a Glock 26, learn to love it with the standard flat base 10rd magazine

    The best advice.
