    German-made SIG 2022's w/French markings

Kind of steep for an SP2022 but German made French police marked SP2022's are an interesting collectible.

I bought one of those a few years ago for $250-ish. Even adjusted for inflation, another $800 seems a bit much.

    Only dropped once?

(I’m a quarter French, so I can say that.)

It’s too bad SIG didn’t build out the SP2022 line more. I really like mine.

Another fan of the SP2022 here. Extremely underrated DA/SA 9mm.

I strongly considered an SP2022 when I wanted a plastic 9mm DA/SA. In the end, I went with a USP9c, which is a great gun, but I might pick up one of the Sigs sometime.

    Did the exact same thing.

I've also considered adding a 2022 to the stable a few times. But not for $1000+. That's PX4 with LTT trigger job territory.

Yeah, the $375 I paid two years ago was about my comfort level. Then again that was US production - German must be worth a premium.

Wow, I had no idea they dipped below 300. That's pretty extreme.

This was in a LGS owned by a buddy of mine. Both the buddy and the shop have a no-bullshit attitude about little-known gear.

The last new Sp2022 I bought was $375 in 2014.

I don't see paying over $1,000 for a "historic" 1-of-250,000 German-made, French Police contract pistol.
