Dark Star Fixed Retention Kit

I just saw this on the Dark Star site. Has anyone replaced their rubber compressible retention spacers with these?

Lots of people have used it... It's specifically for use with the Enigma, allowing one to securely attract the faceplate without over tightening the holster around the pistol.

I have one in a Hitchhiker on an Enigma. Works, but I wish it had a little more retention. I may sand them down just a touch.

Too late to edit my original post, but I'm mainly interested in knowing how the Fixed Retention Kit would work on a regular AIWB holster. I know it works well on the Enigma.
