    Question about dry fire.
Do you do it and do you enjoy it?

Three to four times a week depending if I have a competition or not. Can be fun, can be annoying as hell.

No, so I don't. Trying to change that but its about the last thing I want to do after work.

I do like mixing in dry reps at the range to get more reps in without burning all my ammo.

What is not to like? Marksmanship masturbation without the cost. Depending on drills, you can cover a lot more ground with well thought out dry fire than poorly thought out live fire.

I practice pretty regularly with a blue gun instead. Saves the wear and tear on my firearms...albeit without a moving slide or trigger.

    Dry-er Fire, I guess.

Not especially. I like seeing if I can work times down, and working trigger control, but usually I get tired of it after 5-10 minutes. If i do 5-10 minutes a day of focused practice, though, I see improvements in live fire.

    Daily....about 30 minutes combined between work/home.

I include dry draws from duty holster and concealment. Dry reloads with the duty weapon with a dedicated orange follower and orange base plate magazine. I also include dry draws where I don't dry fire as the job often requires me to clear kydex without firing a shot.

    Regards.

I do it once in a while to keep the rust of my draws but I pretty much hate it.

Shooting is something I do mostly for fun and if I had to work at it then I had better be getting paid.

I do it because I want to win and be good at shooting. Sometimes it's a grind and I have to drag myself to the garage and do it.
