    That's an Official Police, the parent gun for this monstrosity was a D frame Detective Special or Police Positive Special.
    The only D frame .22s I know of are rather scarce Cobras and very scarce Couriers, both on aluminum frames.

    I think there had to be a sex change on ignition. Looks like a real Diamondback hammer, so Bubba only had to change the frame bushing.

    Gotta admire the rear sight installation, too.

    My .22 Diamondback, purchased new in 1977 for $197, is a D frame. I've seen lots of them over the years.
