    "60 Minutes" hit-piece on the AR-15

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ar-15-u...021-06-13/#app

    It super extra deadly!

Look at how much more deadly it is than a Glock 9mm!

    Only mass-shooters use them!
From Older Offspring after a discussion of coffee:

"If it doesn't come from the Kaffa province of Ethiopia, it's just hot roasted-bean juice."

Does anyone actually still watch 60 Minutes or care what they say?

I last watched in 1994. They did a hit piece on the F-22.

I think the last time I watched they did a hit piece on the Audi 5000…

They stopped being relevant when they wired model rocket engines into a crash demonstration of a Chevy pickup because they couldn't get their desired result of an inferno all the times they did the crash and there was no fire.

Was the forged letter from 43's CO in the Guard a 60 minutes product?

Was it 60 Minutes, or another show like 20/20 or Nightline, that did a hit piece on BB guns?

They filmed an "expert" who took a BB gun, and a snub nosed 38 to the range and chronographed them.

The BB gun had a higher velocity, thus it's more deadly was the conclusion.

Well... The "Golden BB" has a 100% success rate.

I actually watched it. By 60 Min standards, it was fairly accurate. What specifically made it a “hit piece?”
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.

They clearly used an expanding bullet in the rifle and a ball FMJ in the 9mm for starters. Overhyping the "dangerous and deadly velocity" of the AR. It was clearly a hit piece.
