JCN buys dumb things that he’ll (probably) never use...

I’ll preface this by saying: I’m dumb.

If you want to hear my mansplaining, read on.

I carry a P365X with red dot as my normal carry gun, but I’ve been playing around with the idea of a weak side pocket BUG like the Taurus 380 revolver or a J frame.

But before the P365 existed I carried a Kimber Micro (similar to a P938).

During the pandemic I found and bought a P938 22LR conversion.

So when this popped up in my email, I thought it might be fun to experiment with that sighting system for a left handed index gun, knowing that it wouldn’t be my primary carry gun.

But most likely it’ll just sit in the safe gathering dust, haha.

I am totally down with you spending money on silly stuff! I like watching/reading about your experiments, I think that there can be something learn (even if it is "don't do this").

Nothing wrong with spending some money on silly stuff. I would also like to know more.

A friend has a P365 SAS, and I actually find it very shootable in a gross sense. Then again, as a I’ve mentioned before I had no problems back in the day with my Guttersnipe equipped ASP in decent lighting.

Inevitably. Everyone knows: you never bring a band saw to a chain saw fight... :-P

I was hoping for something cool like a pressure trace setup and a Contender to test your reloads.

Although I guess if you bought that, you'd probably be using it pretty quickly, so nevermind.
