Glocks aren't hard to sell, at least in my area. I would let anyone that is into guns that I know, and have a certain level of trust in, that you are selling.

You are correct that that you will most likely take a loss trading it in at a gun store.

Fortunately I have an active local gun forum where I do just about all of my gun trading.

    Good luck!

Thx. I’d love to pick up some more revolvers and 1911s. I know that’s crazy, but at a point it’s like I’ll never wear out these many Glocks. Why do I have this many? I don’t even enjoy shooting them… lol

What is your seller’s name? I’m intrigued by a couple.

Hopefully not jamesbrownguns160, or hopefully nobody is bidding on that sellers nickel 27-2, as it looks like a scam.

    This ad:

Has the exact same pictures as another currently running ad:

Only the jamesbraownsguns160 has an unrealistically low buy now price for a NIB old gun and has zero ratings. Other seller has unrealitically high price but is at least a rated seller with numerous transactions.

I may be interested in the Smith 27 and the Wiley Clapp.

    Claw,

I followed Doc_Glocks lead (I believe it was him) and sent some gen 2 Glocks to the Four Seasons gun shop in MA. Jim handles their consignment sales and is quite easy to work with. After they took their commission I was quite pleased with my net.

    Good luck.

I’ve been out of Mass for a while now but the the Four Seasons crew were always great people to do business with.

My advice, worth all that you paid for it, is this: keep the ones you likely would not be able to replace. The S&W M27 3.5" is a good example. Sell what is still made and can be replaced later.
I went through this process a few years ago and had to sell a SIG P226 SAO I really liked but kept the S&W M13 3" that isn't made anymore.

The Glocks will likely drop the most in price when things get back to normal. The revolvers and MK23's will probably have the least price difference.
