    Lacking a sharp cavity mouth or meplat edge, round nose is easier on the pockets when carrying a reload. Especially after they get a bit dinged and sawtoothed, SWC is hard on fabric. I've also found round nose to get less dinged as there are no edges to concentrate blows.

    Personally I have have several older .38 spl and .44 spl revolvers that just shoot tighter groups with LRN than they do with LSW or WC. They are just target / play guns, so I feed them what they like. Also, they just 'look' right when displayed with the older guns for taking pictures.
