Interesting. Too bad SG still won't ship to California; I used to buy quite a bit from him. I have my FFL03 and COE, and several of his competitors have done their legal research and ship to my door once I email scans over. When they have anything I want in stock, that is.

Anyway I had to look up that Remington load, it says 850 fps, so roughly a 45acp equivalent? Interesting in-town option. My woods handload is a 255gr Keith at about 900fps, or here in CA, off the shelf 200gr non-lead Barnes at an advertised 1025 fps.

Remington appeared to have loaded what they found on the shelf.

What am I missing? This SKU has been around for years unless there is some change I'm not seeing. HTP bullet at about 850 fps, standard pressure.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

I hadn't seen it before, just appears to be a .45 ACP bullet loaded to .45 ACP velocity.

I haven't paid close attention to prices on "classic" calibers in a while.

Glad I'm not worried about Indians!

The Ordnance Department castrated the original 45 Colt in the 1870s and turned it into the 45 S&W (230g @ 850). Now Remington has turned the 45 Colt into the 45 ACP (230g @ 850). History repeats itself!
