I've been using this Vortex one for a few years now:

I ended up buying the Lyman Pro Driver off Natchez. Why? It looked like it had less a chance of rolling off my work bench than the Wheeler. Real scientific thought process there. And, I don't think these need to be perfect unless you are a long range competitor. For my hunting purposes, Lyman, Wheeler, etc would all work fine.

I looked at this one but I wasn’t to fond of it being 1/8” instead of the common 1/4” drive. Adapter are available but they always seem to be cumbersome. I ordered a CDI instead.

I got a fat wrench for very cheap and am happy with it. I more recently was gifted fixit sticks and I think these are a must for a range bag. Possibly my favorite gun related tool I own now.

    CDI is good!

I did not have a good experience with the few Fix It Sticks torque bits I got. I got their Glock kit which had a 6lb/in. For such low weight, you really need something not only regulated carefully, but with great dexterity and breakaway feel. The bit I got displayed almost no difference from torque vs. the breakaway. I could see it being very easy to inadvertently apply additional torque past the break point, for example, and snap small screws like Glock front sight screws. Not recommended.

As an alternative Wiha link, this would make for a great option. It's 5-18lb/in, which covers Glock front sights (5-7lb/in) to pistol RDS screws (10-15lb/in).

Scope mounts are often higher than that, though. Just in case someone ever wanted to do more than pistols with their lifetime tool investment.

Definitely. Most scope mounts/rings I've seen are usually between ~15-35lb/in, with some of the higher end stuff I've seen being as high as ~50-65lb/in. If it was me, I'd still have 2 separate torque wrenches to cover that range. Something for roughly ~5-20lb/in, and a second for ~15-80lb/in, but I'm also OCD about tools and probably should be ignored. ;-)
