The Colt's sights are a bit on the small side of tiny.

I seem to have an idea that French police at some point carried a 92 variant in .32 Auto (although I could be mistaken and it was really the little guns). Imagine how many rounds a full-size B92 in .32 Auto could hold...
Considering that Beretta managed to make the 81 series double-stack .32 Autos hold *less* than the .380 versions, who knows? (I'm sure it has to do with the .32 ACP being a semi-rimmed case).

I'd be surprised if the .32 Auto had enough guts to operate a 92/96 locking system. Maybe with an aluminum slide. Now a blowback upper sort of like the .22 trainer kits, that would probably be doable, but never heard of it.

I've got a couple of Beretta .32's including the Titanium Tomcat and the 81BB, and while they've both been for sale here for awhile, they never generated much interest. Lots of possiblilities with the little .32, but it's a pretty overlooked cartridge here in the US.

Any chance you're thinking of 7.65×20mm Longue and the Sig P210-looking pistols they chambered it in? Plus the adorable subgun.

And I'm not saying I'm on the look out for a Beretta 82BB plus basically every other .32 that was also chambered in .380 to convert...but I've priced chamber reamers and done the math. I need to convert four guns to make it worth it...
You don’t need more guns...You need more friends with guns.

I think my father in law has a .32 Ortgies floating around in his sock drawer or whatever. This is a great excuse to have it cut for Novak Lo mounts, cerakoted, and... ok, mags are an issue. Whew, that was a close one!

I had my eye on a .25 Ortgies last year, and still kind of regret not getting it.

Trust me, it has a lot of interest, from at least someone. But I happen to be moving halfway across the country next month...so I have had to keep it under control.

Ed Harris 32 bunny gun... Already have a .32 H&R 10” Contender barrel for the SBR. And also have a pre-war 410 just waiting for me to find the right guy to line that barrel for a .32 H&R chambering and some iron sights. This is turning out to be as much fun as the @JCN round gun threads.

So far, I have myself talked out of this one. I have a 10-inch octagon barrel in .22LR for the Contender. Velocitor should be doing ~1300 fps out of it. 40gr HP at that speed should take care of bunnies, etc. nicely. Next step up will be the 10-inch octagon barrel in .38 SPL.

For the small game getter with some upsize potential, Ive been using .310 or .315 round balls (45-47 grs weight) with 3 grs Unique or Red Dot in 30-30 cases. Its 22 LR std vel quiet. Another way to approach it is a 38/357 with a .360 round ball (71 grs weight) with a yet to be determined light charge in a lever gun. I single load the extra-light loads in the Winchester chambers and push the round trying to feed back down if I want an empty chamber after shooting. The 1873 357 carbine is a particularly pleasing gun to use and handle.
