    Blade HQ Hacked

    Those who have shopped there might want to keep a close eye on their credit/debit cards.

    Total number of persons affected (including residents): 90000

    ....

    Date(s) Breach Occured: 01-07-2021, 04-11-2021
    Date Breach Discovered: 03-22-2021
    Description of the Breach: External system breach (hacking)
    Information Acquired - Name or other personal identifier in combination with: Financial Account Number or Credit/Debit Card Number (in combination with security code, access code, password or PIN for the account)
    WSJ says bladehq.com, grindworx.com, arcform.com, and flytanium.com were affected.

    Fraudulent charges to my credit card resulted from this hack.
    The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
    disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.

    Do you mind if I ask when? I had a card get fraudulently charged about 6 weeks ago or so. It’s the same one I always used at BHQ. I’ve been wondering since I got the email if that’s what happened.

    Mine was used around 1/21/21. This is the 13th time for me since 2012. It is the one card I use for online shopping. Willing to bet that most if not all of the compromises like this occurred via a hacked vendor or card processor.
