    Sleeping AIWB

Went camping last weekend and for the first time ever, just slept with the pistol (chopped G17 with WML) AIWB. It works just fine, but I am not a tummy sleeper.

Previously I had let the gun float around the tent/hammock in the holster. That was less than ideal and I don't intend to do that any more.

Thanks to all who previously reported sleeping while carrying AIWB for the encouragement to try it. I have at least two good reasons to be prepared for any bump in the night.

The PHLster Enigma rig is uniquely suited to this sort of thing as well.

I should add this is a JMCK Kydex Appendix rig with claw. No idea which number wing claw holster it is.

I often do this when sleeping in a hammock

In the desert, looking for water.
SMartcarry works for this as well. Done many times.

I am generally not a fan of AIWB carry. However, this makes enough sense that I might order my first AIWB holster in case my kids want to go camping.
