Damn, ol' Bob there held onto that cat for a while. Props to him. I would hope if I were in that situation I'd have the presence of mind to slam it onto the pavement or do something that would have more effect than grass, but probably not.

I bet the president of the HOA shuts the fuck up about bringing the trash cans in.

Most importantly, Bob saved the brownies.

He threw the cat to gain some distance and grabbed his gat, good on Bob.

    That was weird.
Bobcats don't usually come close to human.

I wondered the same thing. It looked more like Granny's fat house cat than a Bobcat, still it certainly was aggressive.

I haven't seen a Bobcat up close in 25 years, but they were all much bigger (and meaner, and more capable) than that.
"Roy, have ye got the hammer?"
    "Always got the hammer, Tommie."

I saw one some weeks ago running from my neighbor's over to my property and it was a wonder to behold in full flight.

I also wouldn't want myself or the dog to tangle with that sucker unnecessarily.
...and just like that, I woke up one morning and the America I knew and loved was gone.
