I haven't had to use cell phone boosters for several years.
Inductively coupling an antenna at GHz frequencies is a bit of an engineering challenge. Manufacturing consistency is very important to minimize signal loss. All that being said, I did look for an online guide to options, and ran across this article by PC Magazine on cell booster options, these days:

Another vote for the we-boost - I had one in a work truck for a while and it helped but it wasn't remarkable. I had the version for semi trucks. Ran $500 or so if I remember right.
