    First competition of the year

My 2yo came and had a blast. This is his second time but this time my wife wasn't there.

I need to work on speeding up my first shot. I feel I was way to slow today.

Last month I was getting 0.8s from concealment at 12 yards on a 10x12 steel. Don't know why I was so slow today.

    Reloads were ok today.

I admire your commitment to the revolver. Nice work.

    Is that the black-powder division?

Comparing my times for reloads Im kinda surprised at how close they are with my 1911.

Running drills with my m10 a couple weeks ago my times for a draw, bang, click, reload, bang was 5.59sec. Today with my 1911 the average time was 3.76sec. Only 1.83 seconds faster and I was pulling the trigger an extra pull on the revolver.

I didn't save my time for 1 round from concealment but it was right around the same as my m10 with 0.8s

Next time out Ill seen if I can be a little faster with my m66.

Bummer I missed this month. I'll make next one and I'll have plof ammo to shoot!
Come, mother, come! For terror is thy name, death is in thy breath, and every shaking step destroys a world for e'er. Thou 'time', the all-destroyer! Come, O mother, come!
