Free decent movie on Amazon: “15 minutes of War”, try it

It’s really not bad, I enjoyed it, but I’m not up on my revolver ID yet to know if they did GIGN issue revolvers correctly, however the FR F1 rifles were on display. Link to free movie on Amazon Prime video

This movie took great liberties with the truth regarding the 1976 hostage rescue involving GIGN and the Foreign Legion in Loyada, Dijibouti. A FFL website has an excellent writeup here. The liberties taken with the facts in the movie are frustrating, but it’s still good entertainment, at least for me.

At least they nailed the casting of of the leader of the GIGN unit whom was clearly modeled after Christian Prouteau, founder of GIGN.

I'm glad LL posted it here. I don't go to the antiques forum much.
We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.
