A separate display is sooo 90’s trying to predict the future.

A grip plug with an accelerometer and blue tooth that would let you send round counts after a practice session to your smart phone would be actually useful.

If you take 200 rounds to the range, and they're all gone when you leave, how many rounds did you fire? Yes, kids, 200. And if you jot that down somewhere, you can make create your own training log.

Ah, you say, but the OCD among us need to know exactly how many rounds they fired, and they don't want to count leftovers. What should they do? Well, they should unclench their bungholes and estimate the number fired, because it doesn't really matter if you pistol has 10,200 rounds down the pipe, or 10,116.

Or you can buy a Bluetooth thing that will undoubtedly fuck up, and you'll have to estimate anyway.

Can't they just build a Glock that talks to me and can tell how many rounds I just fired and how many seconds it took? How hard can that be?

There's nothing civil about this war.

I immediately thought of the movie "Dredd." But I figure Hi-Ex and incendiary will be limited issue.😁
