Question Is this improper way to conceal carry?

Saw this guy in front of me at the grocery store.
It's IWB but not covered. Not sure if there's a holster either.
AFAIK, here you are allowed to either open carry outside or conceal carry covered.
    What say you?

Best thing about that pic is the lady’s Vans. Also, JMO.

That's the highly operational "openly concealed carry". It allows the grey man to dominate the tactical space by applying a force multiplier, ie., the avoidance of a hyper layered garment envelope.

If you were switched on and dialed in you'd know that.

    +1 to 'free gun'

IANAL, much less a Colorado lawyer. A quick search finds:

"A weapon is concealed on your person if it is placed out of sight so as not to be discernible or apparent by ordinary observation.1

If the weapon is only partially concealed – for instance, by a holster — it is not concealed for purposes of CRS 18-12-105. As long as a casual observer would recognize it as a weapon, you have not violated the law against carrying a concealed weapon."

(there is a footnote there to caselaw, which I didn't follow)

    https://www.shouselaw.com/co/defense...led-carry/#1.1

So I'd say it is legally open carry, which may or may not be legal in CO depending on the exact location, yadda, yadda.

Open and concealed carry are independent of whether it’s IWB or OWB.

It’s about whether you pass the “scary to suburbanites” test.

I’m more concerned about his invisible head than his Glock, though.

    Was this at Walmart?

Yeah, I didn't want to post his face.
