    Raven Concealment wedge?

Anyone have any experience using the RCS wedge (https://www.amazon.com/Raven-Conceal.../dp/B085HHCFRD) instead of the more traditional foam type wedges for AIWB? I'm currently using a JMCK with the flat muzzle pad which works well. I'm curious if the RCS wedge pushes the top of the gun into your body as much as the flat foam pad does?

And any recommendations on AIWB holsters that offer the RCS wedge as an option? Besides Raven of course, they don't make the Eidolon for the Glock 48.

    Thanks

Used it for a while when it came with my Eidolon, to me it was not as comfortable as a foam wedge (or even the Dr Scholls gel pad). It's been awhile, so I can't recall if it was more of a hotspot or lack of give that was the issue.

    Raven Concealment wedge?

I find mine quite comfortable on the Eidolon, but it seems pretty purpose-built. I’m a little skeptical of how it would work on other holsters. I’d be worried the angle or placement of the pad would end up being a little off, and I’m assuming you’d have to drill holes in your holster or glue it or something? Not much chance to experiment with the positioning.
Edited to add: I guess you could set it up with Velcro but that seems wrong somehow.

I would imagine it might depend on how "squishy" the foam is? I have found it needs quite a bit of experimentation to figure out what type / material of pad is needed to suit one's personal ah "gentleman region". I've ended up with a simple "Junk Carry Pillow" on a DSG Hitchhiker, made to @Clusterfrack's specification, and been very happy with it. Details here:

I've also been experimenting with a Melody Lauer "Holster Hack" aka Dr. Scholl's Women's gel heel pad, but placed other way around, at the top. This adds a very slight (0.1") of aggregate space between the holster sweat guard and my belly roll so as to afford a place to put my thumb on the master grip. It works surprisingly well and does not add hardly any weight to the overall width of the rig (it doesn't sound like it would be that thin, but squashed up when worn with normal belt pressure on my Mastermind Specialist belt, it all seems to fit very well.

that eidolong wedge is uncomfortable plus you cant move it around to adjust like the way you can using velcro

Thanks all for replies so far. I'm looking into the RCS wedge since it looks less bulky than a foam pad. I use the pad just to tuck top of gun into body, not for the comfort. I actually think it's more comfortable without the foam pad with less bulk, but need the added concealment it provides.

I'd also be concerned trying to add it to existing holster that it wouldn't fit right. I found a few companies that offer RCS wedge on their holsters and they come with wedge installed with holes already drilled for it. But I'd never heard of these shops before or seen any feedback on them. So was hoping someone here would have a suggestion on holster they've already tried with this wedge.

Not being able to adjust wedge like pooty said is a concern I was thinking about. I'd want it to be as low on holster as possible. Currently with foam pad I have it partially hanging below bottom of holster as I find that more comfortable.

As mentioned by @RJ above, the junk carry pillow has been fantastic for me. Using adhesive backed Velcro will give you the ability to adjust the location, and you can make it as thick or thin as you want.
