Genesis 12! A box mag Gauge that I can get behind!

I picked this Gen12 (from Genesis Arms in CDA Idaho) in mid February and shot it a bit to get used to it and figure out what ammo and optics would suit.

This short video sums up is my "train up" until running it for score at a Major 3Gun (SMM3Gun) March 19,20,21.

I have about 1100 rounds on it and had 3 failures (stove pipes) in the first 50 rounds (with the ammo I have chosen).

It uses a Short Recoil system and an "AR like" rotary bolt and carrier.

It truly drops onto a DPMS pattern LR308 lower.

Speed it has (they have a FA gun for demo)
Holds fist size slug groups at 50 yards
It is a clay buster! I have equaled my "A" class scores on the Sporting Clay and 5 Stand courses.
Did I mention it is fast handling? Flying or stationary this (so far reliable) Box Fed 12G is most excellent!

I think I have found my "Practical shotgun"

I will be writing this gun up (with another 1500 through it) for Recoil Magazine.

Very nice work Mr. Kelley. On another note I spoke with Mr. Rose about a Benelli build this week. Should be ready by the end of next week. He sends his regards and speaks fondly.

I had a student bring one of these to a short clinic I put on a while back. It was pretty neat, although the recoil kept folding up the MBUS sights they had on it every time I pressed trigger

Recoil is a bit less (to my shoulder) then my M2’s

    1145’s work wonderfully for Clays
1235+ for 3 gun and the like.

I suspect this is an evolving platform. Perhaps that is why mine is rather
Comfortable to shoot a case through without concern.
