This Polaris Ranger 800 sounds like hell when you start moving and I think it’s this seemingly loose driveshaft. I’d love to avoid putting it on a trailer and towing it two hours to town, but am not sure where to start.

Sure looks like that U-joint to me.
Look at the 06 second time, it's not supposed to do that.

The problem is it's attached to a Polaris.
Well, that’s not gonna change. It’s what we have. We have two Polaris, one Yamaha, and I think a rebranded Arctic Cat (says Textron).
