Went to pick up my brand new FK BRNO 7.5mm and ...

it started dismantling itself when cycled. Handy feature for cleaning but not so much for shooting.

Yep. All the components you see in the pic came tumbling out.

Fortunately this occurred before the transfer.

That sucks. Hopefully you get it figured out. I’ve been curious about the PSD. Keep us posted.

I'm guessing the backplate came off first. Could be it was machined too small and not snug in the slide, or could be the guy assembling it didnt push it all the way up into its recess. Either way not something you want to see on a high dollar gun, let us know how FK BRNO handles it.

This is the cheap polymer version, but it shouldn't happen no matter what the cost of the gun is.

I had dried fired the gun and the firing pin got stuck which allowed the retainer plate to slip out. When the firing pin became unstuck, presumably when I cycled the gun, it came flying out the back followed by the firing pin block. I normally never dry fire guns but I was in the store checking it out before having it transferred, so ...

BRNO sent a return label so it does seem as they will do what's right.

I believe cheap is a relative term...

Good to hear BRNO is handling it, but also want to hear your no holds barred commentary when it actually stays together enough to shoot. Very cool gun regardless. Sort of a 21st Century Mars pistol.
