    Best Dress belts for EDC

I searched and don't see any recent discussions of this subject. I carry IWB typically and would look to upgrade my gun belt to something new. Looking for a dress gun belt that doesn't look tactical. Any brands highly recommended for quality and look?

    Thanks

Beltran. Double hide leather belts for under $100. Beautiful and inconspicuous.

I like leather belts from JRC and TT Gunleather.

I use Bontoni (the folks who also make great shoes).

I've had good luck with beltman. https://www.thebeltman.net/

I also have one from a better belt.

It seemed to wear on the edges a little faster than the one from the beltman, but I like the options they offer like sizing in 1/2 inch increments.

The beltman belt definitely has a smoother texture to it. I belive both offer tapered dress belts too which may be appropriate if you are wearing a jacket. I have a tapered Galco that does just fine. I bought it when I needed something quickly and didn't have time to wait for one to be made.

Were you planning to wear it with trousers or chinos? Trousers look weird with a 1.5” belt, but chinos are usually fine.

I like my alessi and saddleback belts for chinos. For trousers I wear a custom 1.25” from JRC.

    Budget is always helpful.

My goto continues to be a blk Rafter S that is 1.5 in the body tapering to 1.25 upfront. It is augmented by 1.5 Maxpedition Ligers, a 5.11 clone of the same and the occasional 1.25 to 1.0 Galco in oxblood.

Get Jim from JRC to make you one exactly like you want.
JRC belts are one of the very best.
    Nichols being the other.

Agreed on jrc leather. My ~8 year old horsehide belt still looks great! Including the buckle, unlike every other belt I own.

Note he has a different site for belts etc from his holster site. Go to https://jrcleather.square.site
