Oh, I was seriously thinking of getting one for it. That, and a good belt holster for matches.
(Though, for matches, I'd be better off with a .45. Yet a .44 just speaks to my soul.)

A Pre War Hand Ejector in .44 Special with a short barrel is a rare thing.
That gun, assuming it's all original, which it looks to be, would bring close to triple it's selling price of $1645 with a documented/proper restoration.
I was surprised it stayed under $2k.
I have one of these, and it's really nice. Balances and carries very well, and just a joy to shoot.
