    I wouldn't give a thought to refinishing that gun. Clean it well (stop the rust) and just shoot it. It shows it's been somewhere and done some stuff.

    I looked it over in the zoomed pics, Ive come to the conclusion its not been shot or carried very much, just suffered from a humid environment perhaps. That makes it about perfect for those of us that appreciate older guns but want to carry and use them and not worry about it being a crime against humanity to do so and wear the finish on really clean examples.

    FWIW, by coincidence I had scheduled a drop of some stuff Kasey is going to sell for me and I asked her for a look at this one. Seems tight, the pictures do it justice. I could not detect any timing problems or excessive end shake. Seemed to lock up at the level I expect on a M28 or M27 Coke bottle grips are in decent shape. If you win it I don't think you will be disappointed. Looked ready to test fire and drop in a holster to me.
