Back when I was a kid and still considering a LE career, a Model 28 was my achievable grail gun. I never did get an N frame, and then started out with L frames just a year or so later. I’ve often considered a 27 or 28, not that I need one.
If that was a grail gun for me, I’d snap it up. The BIN is in line with what I would consider okay.

If you factor in the value of the "free" diamond target stocks at about $150, technically you'd only be into it at $800 after tax, shipping and transfer fees.
And that means you'd be "saving" $50 OTD on a very nice condition 4 inch, hard to find Model 28-2 versus buying local, if you could even find one.

    Just sayin.
I applied that very logic on a 6" 28-2 I recently got off GB. [emoji846]

Saw a '67 model in nicer shape than the '75 model I currently had. Scooped if for @ $750 after fees/tax/shipping, sold the '75 model for $775...and the older one had a pair of smooth Presentation grips worth @ $250.

I recall your posting about the 1967 - that was a nice score.

Not very bright but does lack ambition
I’m not going to go for that 28, but I reserve the right to make a play for another. I’m just not sure if I want a 27, a 28 or something else - including nothing.
