I have its twin with Herrets of the same vintage.
That’s a beauty.

Very nice.
Very, very nice.
Working diligently to enlarge my group size.
Nice score! I love the snubby K frames. The first handgun I ever bought was a early 90's S&W Model 19 with 2.5" barrel. I foolishly sold it a few later, and still regret it.
Super nice revolver! I’ve been carrying my 2.5” S&W 686 Plus in a Galco Combat Master holster for over a month. It’s worked out great, but only after I bought a steel core belt. Thanks for sharing that beautiful revolver!
Super nice. I really like the 66-4’s. Not so old that they bring big money and not new enough to have S&Ws “improvements”. I have been searching for a 66-4 four inch round butt.
Ok guys and gals I'm trying to decide on a front sight. I'm leaning towards a Brass or Gold Bead Novak. As the front sight is integral to the rib, I'll have to have it milled. Thoughts and any experience with anyone? Obviously Novak's is on the list. Not sure that I want to try the job myself.
Thanks in advance.
