Postal Idiocy - Again

I ordered a Specialist Pro from Mastermind Tactics the Sunday before last but despite my best efforts I ordered a size to large. No problem I'll just end it back and get the right size. I actually liked the belt so much I ordered another in a different color too. That was was shipped on Monday and supposed to arrive on today, Saturday. However the heros at the central postal hub in Phoenix sent it south instead of north and it's currently being forwarded to somewhere according to the tracking info.

They are saying it's being forwarded because it had the wrong address or zip code. My geuss is that they put it on the wrong truck. I think we're going to see allot of companies outright dumping the USPS or adding UPS/FedEx options where they hadn't before.

RANT

I ordered a gas igniter for our oven from GE Appliances on March 21 (OT- never buy a generic igniter. The break the first time or two you turn on the oven). No shipping options were given at the time of purchase.

It shipped Mar 24 via Fedex Ground. The email didn't say Fedex SmartPost. Fedex Ground. I never got an email from Fedex. They never gave a delivery estimate on their website or send the text message updates I signed up for a$$hole (Never end a sentence in a preposition LOL).

Executive Summary: It took a full week to deliver. Much of that time the package wandered throughout north central Texas.

Did I mention how much I hate SmartPost with a passion? What I really hate is when a seller uses SmartPost but doesn't mention it.
