    Surefire E-Series/Scout Head Interchange

Really simple question I can't find a straight answer to on CPF (god that place is a mess these days).

Can I mount an M300 Scout Head to an M600 body?

    Specifically thinking this head: https://malkoffdevices.com/collectio...00-1cr123-head

    On this body: https://www.surefire.com/products/il...t-weaponlight/

Yes, threads are the same, just match your battery voltage.

*The Dual Fuel Scouts have a larger than standard E Series thread. Now I see that is an AA body, I have no idea...

Call Gene at Malkoff. He will set you up.

Why not use one of the E2XT heads on the 600 body?

My assumption is that RR wants single 123 performance, out of 2 AA batts, for easy logistics

    Exactly.

I'm hoping to move entirely away from CR123/18650/16650 this year. Moving strictly to a combination of NIMH AA & AAA and 14500 LiOns. If I need more power I can through a 6-9v head on the M600 body and stuff it with two 14500s (generating about 8v).
