    I found a website that tracks average processing time - they imply 50 days for an efiled form 1. I’m hoping that is accurate - I’d like to get this done.

    Just got my approval email. I assume the actual stamp is going in the mail and needs to be in my possession before I mount the buttstock? I can work on getting the engraving done in the meantime.

    If you E-filed your form 4, which I believe you did, then no, you don’t get a physical stamp. The stamp is attached to your approval email.

    As was stated above there will not be 'an original' but rather a printed copy. The only time you get an actual form with a real stamp on it is when you file by snail mail.
