Outstanding news. Now that USPSA has a fresh start, I hope the leadership focuses on making the sport better for all members.

This didn't have to do with making people angry. It was repeated and well-documented misconduct that rose to the level requiring removal from office. Hopefully the full details of the investigation by the lawyer will be released, but I expect that a lot will remain confidential.

It has the potential.
But fresh start is going to 100% depend on who the candidates are.
And again I’m ignorant at politics, but I think the second part is tough. It seems to me that it’s always a balance with making some people unhappy but trying to make more people happy.
It’s like taxes. Everyone wants things better. Not everyone wants to pay / personally sacrifice to make that happen.
So at some point leadership has to make tough choices and screw some people for the “greater good.”
It’s going to very much depend on what leadership thinks is best for the sport. Is it more focus on the top talent? Is it more focus on the newer members? Will see.
OK. I will take your points at face value, but will respectfully disagree. I don't see Presidents of significant organizations brought down for personal snickiets with a few members. It usually takes financial malfeasance or loss of revenues. But as I said, I will take your argument as the reason.
I too would like to see what new candidates running will stand for.
