Don't know if I mentioned this before, but our Older Offspring is on the spectrum (and might have mild ADHD). She's valedictorian of her class, and a delightful human being. It took a lot of therapy, intervention, and just plain grit from the wife and me to get her to this point, but I believe it's possible to get these kids to parity with their peers where their gifts can come out and they can be seem as "normal" (if quirky). Keep at it; you can do it.

This is very encouraging to read, both boys are in ABA therapy, Speech therapy, counseling, IEP etc... We are doing whatever we possibly can to help these boys adapt to society, society is not going to adapt to them.
