    Those are the best if you have keep notes outside. We used to buy the hardbound version by the case. That's all surveyors and timber cruisers use around here because there aren't many dry days here in the PNW in the winter. Our dept had an archive of those that numbered in the thousands and went back into the 30's. Made for some interesting reading while researching old surveys.

    Europtic box is at my house. Gun is ready for pick up. Grabbed 2 small levels, loctite, plumb bob and got my Caldwell bench rest set up ready to go.

    I was in the Gun Library at Cabela’s today and they had a similar Bergara in .30-06. It looks like a very nice rifle and that “SoftTouch” stock is pretty cool. I’m curious what it will feel like on a 25° morning in the deer stand. I’m thinking that it will be better than normal synthetic stocks and maybe as good as wood.
