    Safety on.

    Press the action bar release lever in front of the trigger guard and pull the fore-end to the rear ?

    Be aware that if there are rounds in the magazine this will move another round from the magazine to the lifter.

    The loos round on the lifter can be removed by rolling the gun so the open ejection port is down and mildly shaking it till the round falls out the open ejection port.

    Remaining rounds in the magazine can be removed by pinching the shell stops through the loading port on the bottom.
