Jerry Fisk is reporting that Bill Bagwell passed away yesterday. Sad news.

    So much yes!

I think I remember Rob Simonich posting on Bladeforums. Gunner grips. Stellite. Remember the furor of Darrel Ralph's Apogee. I still have copies of the SOF "Battle Blades" articles by Bill Bagwell. So much talent. My kingdom or an Onterio Bagwell Bowie, let alone a genuine article.

I have one of Darrel's anodized Apogees from back in the day, with Mike Norris stainless damascus. And I wear a neck knife he gifted me in 420v (S90V) daily. And of course, Simonich and I were great friends, and I own a few of his pieces, one he made for me while I was a guest at his home in Montana. I'd only met Bill Bagwell but never owned any of his work or got to know him personally. My loss.

I also am a Bagwell fan, RIP.

I have his book, had an Ontario Hell's Belle, and have an Ontario Gambler that I got in a bidding war on and way overpaid for, I think like $450 lol.

I always admired his craft, and his efforts for the blade community.

In the words of Uncle Pat: "We are diminished."
