Yup, they are LOW made, just like the Razor.
Incredibly tempted to buy one, just can't really justify it exactly given that I have pretty solid glass on my rifles as-is, though the meopta 1-4 is a bit outdated. Will update eventually, but not now.
I'm in the same boat. I've got a 1-4 Razor and a LOW made 1-8.5 Bushnell. The reality is that the 1-6X is borderline outdated with all the 1-8 and 1-10 optics coming out. Upsides are the bright dot and the mil reticle make me want to swap out the 1-4 Razor.

If the battery dies, is the reticle still useable at close ranges with speed? Looks like super thin crosshair with nothing in the center if it’s not illuminated.

The reticle is thin but it should still be usable.
