    Arex Delta Gen 2

Picked up both the L and M models of the Arex Delta Gen 2. I’ve had the L for a couple of weeks while the M just delivered to my FFL but haven’t picked it up yet. I am absolutely in love with this L though. Has all the attributes that we appreciate in a striker - low weight and bore axis, pre not fully tensioned striker, physical supported sear until the trigger bar drops it, and a striker indicator ala Walther PPS. Oh and it’s kinda modular in that the grip frame isn’t serialized - the trigger assembly is. Pictures comparing size to my hellcat and p07. Also, I have been using g17 light bearing holsters so far.

Possibly interesting. Is that 20 oz with or without a mag?

What happens if you put your thumb over the hole in the backplate and pull the trigger?

Without mag. 22.87 with (this is the 17rd 4.5” version) - didn’t snag a pic of that measurement. I can feel the striker indicator against my thumb. If I press down hard enough, I can interrupt the trigger from dropping the sear - do wish the striker was a touch longer to make that part easier. Gun is being sent out tomorrow to CHPWS for optic plate prototyping - the factory ones are plastic and quite thick.

Picked up my Delta M model. This is the 4” 15rd version. This is a really nice carry size - the weight and shape of the gun allow it to conceal easily and comfortably.

I'm looking at the Delta M and I'm curious about the holster you have. Either my GoogleFu is not working very well today or I'm having issues locating holsters. Also, now that you've had it for about a month, any new issues you've found that you don't like about it?

Is that a Glock 19 next to the Delta or something else? Any comparison on grip size, width and shape? It seems like it is or could be narrower with the metal magazine but it is hard to tell from pics.

That’s a Hellcat next to it. The delta M is very similar in shape to a glock 19 except the Delta is noticeably thinner and lighter.

So I carry it in a TXC holster made for a Glock 19 with a tlr7. Fits perfectly - clicks in no problem. The delta also fits and clicks into all of my 19 holsters so long as they have adjustable retention.

What’s amazing is that with the light and 15+1 onboard, the guns weights 29.3oz

That is awesome! Thanks for the holster information. I already have a G19 so I can take one of my holsters with me to test fit the pistol.

Have you been able to find any magazines for the L?

I've got two M's, a gen 1 and a gen 2 OR. I'm very tempted to add an L, but I cant ever seem to find any magazines.

I picked up an AMR designs OWB holster for the gen 2/TLR-7A combo. I'm pretty happy with the ANR holster, and will probably order an IWB for the Delta shortly.
