Passing by Cabelas
Erie County, driving by so I stopped in.
Rifles - 1 10/22, some BP and bolt guns
Shotguns - O/Us and in the library some Churchill pump guns
Handguns - BP revolver, about 5 various Buckmarks, one SW 929 for $1299.
NO ammo except a box of 50 AE, 17 HMR, a few 28 gauge shotgun shells.
That's worse than my last visit. If you decided you wanted a gun for SD, slim pickings and you would have to use it as an impact weapon, I suppose.
I have a Glock 44 coming to me, so I guess I'm ahead of the game. It's shipped.

The Cabela's in East Hartford, CT has the same lack of stock in firearms & ammo. I noted that the "Gun Library" was picked over as well, anything handgun or self defense oriented was gone.
However pics from the gun store where my son works just a few days ago. Because the owner is willing to pay the Stupid Expensive prices to keep the shelves stocked, and it moves. My son just said .380 is $60/50 rounds.

What store does your son work at? I gave up on Cabela's months ago, but haven't been in any of my old haunts recently.
