Suppose to be the same keyway cut and same height of sight.

    Neighbor has a T grip for it a #8.
It was could have been sprayed a bunch with wd-40 which turns in a sticky varnish. I’ve seen several old guys guns done this way. A good detailed cleaning may be all it needs.

I had one that was so gummed up that non-chlorinated carb cleaner couldn't cut it. I got a covered glass baking dish from Wally-Woild, disassembled the gun, liberally sprayed the frame and parts with PD Blaster and let them rest for a couple of months, opening it one to spray it down again. A scrubbing after that with a nylon toothbrush finished the job.

Well we sprayed the interior with carb cleaner and have been dryfiring it a bunch, and that has helped. It's going to the range today to see how it does there. Thinking about hammer shims for the beast. Bringing along a newbie to revolvers and I'm not too familiar with the Ruger DAs. I have a GP100 that is my avatar and that's it. Always looking! Just went to a gunshow Sunday and lots of blackstuff for sale (AR) but no primers, some powder and lots of once fired brass. No revolvers for sale to be found. 120 tables and I counted 12 revolvers for sale. No Rugers, which is unheard of here in Idaho, 5 Smiths, no K frames all Ns. The rest were SA Colts and a couple FAs.

I sold old grips and some large rifle primers at a fair price. Had a good day saw a lot of old acquaintances. Cleaning out the old stuff that will have to be moved by my wife or kids one day.

Bullhide belt, split-6 speedloader case, 2.5” Model 19 in a Kramer holster. When I drop my sweatshirt over it, it’s pretty undetectable.

(It does help not to be a skinny, svelte critter.)

S&W 66-4 in a JMCK AIWB, Graith Specialist Belt, 2 Comp 2 Speedloaders in CD2 clips. My Holster is for a 3 inch revolver and I added a foam wedge. It can be done with the right gear. Start with a JMCK Holster.

I put the cd-2 right in front of the holster or else its too pokey for me. Now you have me curious to try 2 a little farther away like you to see if it would cause less pressure points.

I've tried one next to the gun with my other AIWB's for J frames and found it tended to pinch when the holster and CD2 came together when I move just right or bend. 2 moved away from the holster seems to work well, and are accessible to either hand, at least with my long arms...

That revolver looks killer; I love the T-grip/DAO look on a K-frame. Perfect.

@Stephanie B and @MDFA do you reload with your support hand running the speedloader? Just curious, as I keep my loaders over on my strong side, whatever the setup.

I can use either hand, although I would use my Strong Hand as my default. With my reach it's not an issue, and it keeps the loaders from pinching against the holster which is quite uncomfortable. The loader closest to my pants zipper is almost at the center line of my body. Hope this helps.

I can reload either way. It's more comfortable for me to have the speedloader on the off-side for concealment work.
