These are photos I took at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv in June, on a Saturday night when there are makeshift Havdalah (end of Shabbat) services, followed by a rally at which, typically, relatives of one of the hostages address the crowd.
Tears of joy this morning as the four girls on the left have returned to their families in Israel. The scale of the horror is so vast that psychologically one “adopts” a few hostages who become “your” hostages. For me, one of those was Na’ama Levy, whose parents spoke that night.
This is just shy of unbelievable. ALS patient who cannot speak or move can communicate with his brain through Neuralink. Highly recommend the full 10 minutes.
