I’m in the market for a versatile semi-auto 12ga. shotgun. I spent a decade with a Super Black Eagle without trouble. In my recent research I’ve stumbled across this Saur. I think this is a handsome blend of modern with traditional elements. I really like the slight Mannlicher stock treatment.

The history and quality of this company speaks for itself, but I have never really considered Saur before. Now the interesting part. According to the review (embedded here) these were selling for $1899.00 a few years ago but can now be had for $799.00. Anyone have any experience with these, or impressions?
