I would start a company to develop a new social media system that is 1) decentralized 2) encrypted and 3) open-source, to provide a competitor to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. None of the current alternatives are good enough. It wouldn't be gun-related per se, but any pro-gun message you try to put out on current social media now is going to be minimized if not outright censored.

Yeah this is pretty much the 1st step, just for 'The Right' to survive at all

illegal aliens assisted with leaving, but allowed to hijacked amazon delivery vans to drive home, on the way back they're given dibs to pillage walmart and Bezos warehouse. Pay repatriated Meso-Americans laborers some kind of relocation stipend for five years. the smarter ones get free training in the trades & engineering before being put on a plane. replace their work with school kids like in the old days. half of schooling in class half of school outdoors on farms, listening to lessons on mp3. no immigration other than warbrides & supermodles, h1b visas will be restricted to legit geniuses, we poach them from their homes before russia or china can.

bring back the militia system starting w military training in junior high, at age 20 callup to active duty by draft lottery. video game-computer nerds go to the drone and space force. redraw the borders around Sierra Nevadas, Appalachias & the red counties on the atlantic, pacifc and gulf, push for secession. we take Canada thru plebiscite, using Dominion voting machines. we take Greenland, and build a Trump hotel on it. this gives the New United States easy to defend borders, a high tech military backed up by a 100million+ reservist militia, controlling most of valuable resources in North Americas : oil, gas, coal, farms, fishing, solar, water, and white girls

in the end we don't have to worry about the 2nd anymore, since the people that threaten it, are no longer citizens of the same country.

The title, is a question. The answer is NO. I agree this is a long term thing, the same with speech, and other rights we, as a society let erode away, with things like the Patriot act, etc.
I also agree growing it and learning from those that have money, is a good strategy, as a billionaire, you are no longer one of the little people. (but they will expect you to be, as they try to siphon off your money)

Why wouldn't you just invest in ones that are already out there?
I think even starting one, you would have the same marketing and ease of use issues that existing ones do now, like Librem.one.

Promote a new era of enlightenment. Like some alternative media do, but one or two numbers bigger.

Educate people. Tell them and reason about what important values are and why. For immunization, teach already pupils in school how propaganda works. And how science works, how to figure out the truth.

Make people smarter and wiser. Then freedom, peace and happiness for all will follow.

It's primarily an infowar. Most of the very mighty want to keep us dumb so that they can easily rule and exploit us.

Probably getting a little off in the weeds here, but I think one protocol that can do many things is a better solution than just repackaging a bunch of existing services under a new (albeit easier-to-set-up) umbrella like Purism has done with Librem.one. Something like Secushare is more of what I'm hoping for. Unfortunately, it's not released yet and progress seems to be rather slow.

I will give credit to Purism for producing open-source security-focused hardware; that's definitely a problem that needs to be solved.

I never thought about promoting the second amendment if I win the lottery big; but I have thought that I would buy Colt, Smith & Wesson and Winchester and move them all to Texas or the Dakotas. Then concentrate on high quality control.

One billion dollars can make people do a lot of things, including shutting the f*** up. Is it cheaper to bring people on board, or just make people go away? You don't need to donate to pro-2A candidates; you need to donate to anti-2A candidates.....with just a few heavily implied strings attached.

Maybe I just think differently, but I would start a new private investigations firm that would make the Pinkertons look like amateurish choirboys.

I'd hire former FBI, CIA, DIA, FSB and MI5/6. Half the business would take new legit contracts from whomever had the scratch. They would be there to monetarily support the second half, whose only purpose would be finding dirt on any politician, judge, bureaucrat, high ranking official in LE or whatever. And then making it public.

Anyone dirty, no matter their political affiliation would be game, from small town to Washington and every level in between.
