Advantage Arms .22 Glock slide: what ammo?

Since so e of y’all were reminiscing about vintageness and referencing the manual, I thought I’d post a few more pics.

Clamshell case with red foam. Apparently I also replaced the adjustable rear sight with something more tacticaller and installed a fiber optic front.


The only reference I could find to ammo in my manual.

Mines the same vintage, manual said the same.

Despite that, mine ran great with Federal Bulk Pack 525's.

I have a Ciener conversion on an old G19 frame that I bought in 2000 and an Advantage Arms converter on a Gen III Glock 22 frame that I probably got in 2014 or so.

Both run best with plated round nose bullets over 1,200 fps. My favorite ammo is CCI Mini Mags. I still get some malfunctions caused by the slide not going fully into battery.

"About 6 months ago I switched to Cherry Balmz Rimfire Remedy for lubrication, it seemed to do okay." -- I had never heard of Rimfire Remedy before. I think I'm going to order some and try it out.
