For me, the hex recess would be sub optimal with monovision.
But, they will probably sell quite well..

Having not shot a front sight wider than .125 in many years, the .160 width concerns me a bit, but I've got a 48 inbound that needs sights so I'm willing to give these a shot, preordered some on Midway. Maybe wide front sights will make a comeback like target-focused shooting. Will report back.
Because the legacy HD rear sight is like a razor blade, and has trashed numerous of my shirts over the years.
