Curious how that grip angle compares with a Shadow2. I very much do not prefer a 1911 grip angle. The S2 is very popular in competition, so this looks like a step in the wrong direction.

I haven't pulled the two of mine into competition yet for a couple reasons:
1. I normally use Syntech and that's a no-go with the gas system of the Alien.
2. Replacement parts are scarce so I bought two guns initially so that I'd have backup.
3. Grip angle would need retraining from me if I used it.
So #1 I can deal with.
#2 Can be solved with three copies of the gun and Laugo now has opened their US branch.
#3 Solved with the Creator edition, I think.
I think initially the Alien was re-selling on Gunbroker for 2-4x the purchase price when stock was low.
The Creator edition will be worth that as well, I'd think if I don't like it.
They also gave Signature owners $500 off the price so that's decent.
It'd be a decent alternative to a 2011 in LO.

Hey fellow Alien owners, how do you manage that mag well screw that constantly goes out after couple dozens of shots fired? I got upgraded springs for mags and now reloading and chambering 1st round isnt an issue anymore but that mag well screw is a real bugger, tried Loctite that usually worked to keep things in place but little to no luck in this case. Really appreciate any input or ideas.
