It doesn't sound ideal since it's not reinforced.

While I originally purchased it primarily for carrying an LCR in gym shorts, it works really well with a G19. Not having to purchase new holster bodies is also a huge plus compared to something like the Phlster Enigma.
Thanks for the support and for taking time to post about your experience with the Covert, we do appreciate it.

We have a lot of users reporting that they are using their Covert in PT gear with double stack guns, reloads, our TQ carriers and even fixed blades which is beyond what we expected would be carried on the Covert when using it with gym attire but it seems to work.

I just placed an order. I spend way too much time in sweats and gym shorts not to add this to the arsenal.

Is there a belt "support" group? Asking for a friend.
Thank you! We appreciate your continued support and hope that the Covert will be a nice addition to your collection!

I like being able to just clip a CP and Sabre Red Spray on the belt and pull the top of my running shorts over them when I'm not carrying a gun for whatever reason. Being able to then just add the gun when applicable, without a special shell as @Josh mentioned, is really useful for me as my day might go from 3 am at the gym then 12hrs running around at work to a long trail run with random people. And it works really well as a normal belt that doesn't attract attention if needed.

I've used my PF Specialist and Patagonia/MK/Arc'teryx/etc web belts for the same purpose in the past, but the Covert addresses all the limitations those belts had when used this way.
Thank you for sharing how your Covert is working out for you. We like hearing that it is working well for you and that it offers flexibility based on your needs.

It can be used as a normal belt run through the belt loops but we have never had anyone want to carry OWB with it. I suppose it could work occasionally depending on the type of gun you are carrying but it is certainly not designed for that method of carry.

As a general note we have been getting a lot of end user feedback about the Covert and it is being used more than we expected in PT gear, sweats, flannel pants, and other garments without belt loops.

We are happy that people are using the Covert to supplement their carry needs. Although initially designed to be used for PC work and 100% discreet tuckable carry primarily for our professional customers the simplicity of the design seems to be resonating well with those that are looking for a carry method that works with gym clothes and other hard to carry in clothing options. The big plus at least to us is that it works well, couldn't be much simpler or minimal, does not require any set up and can be used with the carry gear you already have.

Thanks again for everyone's support and feedback.

Got mine today. (Wearing it now with some sweat shorts, an Under Armour sleeveless compression shirt and a t-shirt over it.)

Very comfortable. Holds the 642 in place very well.

    Two thumbs up so far.

Got mine today and am experimenting with a couple of holsters from “the box o holsters “.

Any thoughts on belt attachments? Pull the dot is a bit bulky…

Discreet Carry Clips or the big metal clip @DarkStarGear uses both work very well.
